The role available is a Kitchen Manager position where leadership, development, and accountability are paramount. As a Kitchen Manager, you will spearhead team operations, manage kitchen activities, and cultivate a positive culture that aligns with Pepi's values. This position involves overseeing the entire kitchen staff, from hiring and training to ensuring safety and well-being. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen that consistently delivers high-quality food and superior customer service. Key responsibilities include maintaining strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards such as HACCP, ensuring compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations, and managing purchasing and inventory control. Attention to detail is critical, from menu plan adherence and portion control to operational metrics and digital communication initiatives in dining centers.

This role offers a competitive pay range of $700 to $900 per week, complemented by an incentive package focused on attendance, safety, attitude, and performance bonuses. The work schedule primarily follows a day to evening shift, with occasional weekend hours to support our operations. Job Requirements

  • Associates degree preferred
  • Food safety manager certification required
  • Minimum 3 years experience in food service management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Ability to work day to evening shifts with occasional weekends
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Commitment to maintaining safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Associates degree in culinary arts, business administration, or related field preferred
  • Food Safety Manager Certification (e.g., ServSafe) required
  • Minimum 3 years progressive experience in food service management
  • Competency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and ability to learn internal software
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high standards
