Job Requirements
- Associates degree preferred
- Food safety manager certification required
- Minimum 3 years experience in food service management
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Ability to work day to evening shifts with occasional weekends
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Commitment to maintaining safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Associates degree in culinary arts, business administration, or related field preferred
- Food Safety Manager Certification (e.g., ServSafe) required
- Minimum 3 years progressive experience in food service management
- Competency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and ability to learn internal software
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high standards
Job Duties
- Lead, develop, and be accountable for all kitchen actions and people
- Hire and train staff embodying Pepi culture
- Ensure safety and well-being of team members
- Maintain a clean, labeled, and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure consistency in food quality and adherence to menu plans
- Manage resource purchasing, inventory control, and portion sizes
- Oversee food service operational metrics and compliance
- Plan menus and develop digital communications for dining centers
- Conduct regular customer visits and implement improvement plans
- Enforce compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations
