At The Ritz Carlton South Beach, the Jose Andres Group invites talented and passionate hospitality professionals to join their team as Line Cooks at the Dilido Beach Club. The Line Cook role is critical in helping realize the vision of Chef Jos Andr s by preparing menu items that exceed guest expectations through skillful technique, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence. This position demands a thorough understanding of ingredients, recipes, and culinary preparation, accompanied by a continuous desire to learn and grow in the food and beverage industry. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced knife skills and kitchen experience to confidently manage a station during peak service hours, working seamlessly alongside an energetic and positive kitchen team.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand or walk for 8 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and up to 30 lbs occasionally
  • Manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment
  • Capacity to perform repetitive motions and multitask
  • Visual acuity and hearing ability
  • Willingness to work nights, holidays, and weekends
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a line cook or similar culinary role
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knife skills and food preparation techniques
  • Passion for learning and continuous improvement
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Leverage knife skills and technique to confidently prep and run a station during busy service
  • Seamlessly work with kitchen team to prepare and reproduce menu items exceeding guest expectations
  • Embrace an active and innovative approach to learning about food and beverage
  • Understand all ingredients as they pertain to each recipe and menu item preparation
  • Maintain a positive and energetic attitude in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the station and work area
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation standards
