The Dietary Server position at Woodside Senior Communities is a vital role that supports the nutritional and dining needs of our residents. This role is available on a part-time or full-time basis, designed for individuals passionate about food service and keen on contributing to a vibrant community atmosphere. The Dietary Server assists in various aspects of meal preparation, serving, and cleanup, ensuring that each resident receives meals according to prescribed diets and individualized requests. Responsibilities include setting up and cleaning dining areas, transporting dietary carts, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in line with the organization’s policies.

The Dietary Server is expected to uphold resident rights and maintain confidentiality, enhancing the overall quality of care delivered. Job Duties

  • Prepares and serves meals and beverages according to prepared menus, prescribed diets of residents, or dietary requests
  • Transports and retrieves dietary carts to unit dining rooms
  • Sets up each dining room before each meal and cleans up after each meal
  • Makes snacks and sandwiches for stocking fridges in nursing stations
  • Uses dish washer and garbage disposal
  • Cleans and sanitizes work area
  • Monitors the kitchen and dining rooms for any needed supplies and restocks when necessary
