The role being offered is for a Dietary Porter, a vital position within the Villa de Matel Center team, focused on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. This full-time position requires a dedicated individual capable of performing general and heavy cleaning duties across assigned areas within the facility. The Dietary Porter will be responsible for the timely delivery and pick-up of food containers from different buildings, ensuring that the process runs smoothly and supports the dietary services provided by the Sisters’ ministries.

This position involves physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy objects and equipment, which makes physical strength and stamina important qualities for candidates. The Dietary Porter contributes significantly to the overall hygiene and sanitation of the center, helping to uphold the facility's high standards. The work schedule for this role consists of five days per week, with each day involving an eight-hour shift, offering stability and consistency for employees. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum six months related experience
  • Food Handlers Certificate (can be obtained after hire)
  • Texas driver’s license
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Physically able to perform cleaning duties
