The Dietary Manager position at Haven Health plays an essential role within this vital community-focused healthcare system. Reporting directly to the Executive Director and serving as an active member of the Interdisciplinary Care Team, the Dietary Manager oversees all aspects of dietary services aimed at providing therapeutic meals tailored to the nutritional needs of each resident. This is a leadership role responsible for budgeting, purchasing, storage, meal preparation, and the overall dietary service operations. The Dietary Manager ensures compliance with all dietary documentation requirements related to the department, resident care plans, and Minimum Data Set (MDS) records. Moreover, the manager supervises and schedules the dietary team, including cooks and dietary aides, ensuring smooth and effective daily operations.
This position requires a strong background in dietary management along with certifications such as the Dietary Manager Certification where required, and a Food Handler's Permit in applicable counties. Candidates must also comply with safety and screening procedures including fingerprint clearance, background screenings, drug testing, tuberculosis testing, and employee health screenings conducted after hire. Physical capabilities include the ability to move, lift, and transfer up to 50 pounds. The ability to communicate effectively in English is also mandatory.

Job Requirements
