We are currently hiring a full-time Dietary Aide to join our dedicated dietary team. This position offers a starting pay rate of $13.67 per hour and includes a $1,000 sign-on bonus as an incentive to attract qualified candidates. The role plays a crucial part in the nutritional care of our residents by preparing and serving meals that adhere to established federal, state, and local standards as well as internal policies set by the Dietary Supervisor, Administrator, or Dietitian. A Dietary Aide at Mesa Springs Healthcare Center is responsible for ensuring that each meal is nutritious, palatable, and safe for our residents, including those on specialized therapeutic diets. This involves preparing food in accordance with planned menus and standardized recipes, managing portion control, and catering to individual dietary modifications.

The Dietary Aide helps maintain a clean and organized food service environment, adhering strictly to safety regulations, infection control protocols, and sanitary standards. Responsibilities extend beyond food preparation to include assisting with inventory management, cleaning duties, and coordination across departments to ensure seamless service delivery. The ideal candidate must be reliable, hardworking, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment, while demonstrating patience, tact, and strong communication skills necessary for interacting with residents, families, healthcare personnel, and other staff members.

Mesa Springs Healthcare Center values teamwork and integrity in all facets of operation, and our dietary team embodies these principles daily to enhance the lives of those we serve. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about healthcare nutrition and committed to providing high-quality service in a supportive and dynamic setting.
