Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year cooking experience including short order and quantity cooking
- Serv-Safe certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Willingness to learn new food preparation techniques and presentation
- Knowledge of special dietary needs and required meal preparation
- Ability to work effectively with a team and display team behaviors
- Ability to effectively deal with conflict or customer complaints
- Ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Follow all food safety and equipment safety procedures
- Knowledge of and compliance with community quality standards
- Ability to short order cook
- Dependable, punctual, self-motivated, able to work without supervision
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Ensure efficient, timely, and friendly service to all residents and staff
- Maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures
- Prepare and present high-quality food items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Order, receive, and rotate stock in coordination with Food Service Director
- Follow recipes to ensure consistency of products
- Assist with meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations
- Uphold community quality standards and requirements
