The Dietary Cook role at Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to providing nutritious and tasty meals to our residents. As a key member of our dietary team, the Dietary Cook will be responsible for preparing and serving meals in accordance with carefully planned menus. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior dietary experience in LTC, SNF, AL, or MC setting highly preferred
- Minimum one year experience as a cook in a large-scale cooking operation highly preferred
- Ability to maintain professional image in appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Flexible and energetic personality
- Passion for working with seniors

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve meals according to menu
- Monitor methods of food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning
- Provide nutritionally appropriate food safely and efficiently to residents
- Ensure quality food service and nutrition care in compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Assist with inventory management and food ordering
- Collaborate with dietary team and healthcare staff to meet residents' dietary needs
