Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in cooking or food service
- Ability to follow menus and recipes to consistently produce high-quality meals
- Ability to ensure meals are prepared and served on time
- Adaptability to changing tasks and kitchen needs
- Physical capability to perform lifting, bending, and other physical tasks safely
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a similar dietary cook or food preparation role
- Ability to follow menus and standardized recipes accurately
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to work well in a team and step into leadership roles when necessary
Job Duties
- Prepare meals according to standardized recipes in a safe and sanitary manner
- Suggest creative ways to utilize leftovers and manage overstock efficiently
- Accurately prepare, portion, and serve meals based on recipes and dietary plans
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas according to health standards
- Safely lift, bend, and twist as needed during food preparation
