With a network of community-based settings and various locations across the United States, NeuroRestorative provides comprehensive programs tailored to meet the unique needs of each person served. Their diverse range of offerings includes vocational programs, therapeutic interventions, day treatment opportunities, and specialized services catering to populations such as infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members, and Veterans. Committed to supporting growth, independence, and improved quality of life, the organization has developed a strong reputation over many years for compassionate, individualized care.

The Dietary and Food Cook position at NeuroRestorative is an essential role that combines culinary expertise with a commitment to serving individuals who benefit from the organization’s meaningful programs. This role focuses on coordinating nutritious menus and preparing high-quality meals designed to meet the dietary needs of program participants. As part of a larger team, the Dietary and Food Cook contributes directly to enhancing the wellbeing of those receiving services by ensuring food is prepared safely, appealingly, and in accordance with established menus and nutritional guidelines. The job involves reviewing work orders, preparing and seasoning food, carving portions, inspecting food storage areas, and maintaining sanitary conditions in the kitchen. Additionally, this position may oversee other kitchen staff, coordinate daily kitchen activities, plan and review menus, and manage food quantities and cost controls to maintain efficiency and sustainability.

This role is well suited for individuals who bring strong culinary skills, keen attention to detail, and a genuine desire to support others through their work. The successful candidate will possess the ability to balance multiple tasks efficiently, communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality. The Dietary and Food Cook position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment where the mission is central—improving lives. Employees in this role also benefit from a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, job security, and opportunities for career advancement within a nationwide organization with a strong commitment to its workforce.

NeuroRestorative and its parent company Sevita emphasize diversity and equal opportunity within their workforce, cultivating an inclusive culture that respects and values all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status. This reflects the organization’s broader dedication to holistic, person-centered care beyond just their clients, extending to the environment they create for their employees.
