The Dietary Aide position is an essential role within a food service department, primarily servicing residents in a healthcare or assisted living facility. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to lift and carry trays and kitchen equipment
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends
- physical ability to stand for extended periods
- basic understanding of safety and hygiene practices
- ability to follow directions and work under supervision
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food service or healthcare environment is an advantage
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to work well in a team environment

Job Duties
- Deliver and retrieve dishes to and from resident area
- set up tables for meals
- process soiled trays, dishes and utensils from carts through dishwasher
- return clean items to appropriate places
- assist in serving food on line
- wash pots, pans and other equipment as necessary
