We are currently seeking an experienced Dewatering Area Manager to join our team based in the Southeastern United States. This is a newly created role designed to lead and manage the success of the dewatering operations in the assigned region. The position requires a strong leader who can establish and nurture client relationships, provide strategic direction, and ensure operational and financial targets are met or exceeded.

The Dewatering Area Manager will oversee the area construction dewatering team while aligning activities with the Branch Business Plan. This role includes responsibilities for business development, proposal preparation, project and operational oversight, and supporting the team to achieve business growth. An integral part of this role is leading, coaching, and developing direct reports and providing guidance to managers within the area.

Safety and quality assurance are paramount in this position. The Dewatering Area Manager will enforce Keller’s safety protocols and OSHA regulations, ensuring all fieldwork meets contract quality standards and that any quality non-conformance issues are documented and resolved promptly. This position must also possess a strong understanding of risk management to identify potential risks and implement measures to safeguard the company’s interests.

The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $160,000 per year, reflecting factors such as experience, skills, job scope, and geographical location. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology or related field preferred
  • Experience in the construction dewatering industry
  • 10+ years geotechnical, construction or industry related experience preferred
  • Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills necessary

Job Duties

  • Lead the area construction dewatering team according to the Branch Business Plan
  • Obtain accurate market knowledge to develop dewatering services in the region
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customer decision makers
  • Oversee dewatering projects and operations in the region
  • Support, control, and evaluate business development actions in the area
  • Provide guidance, direction, coaching, and support to direct reports and area managers
  • Ensure compliance with Keller and OSHA safety requirements
  • Manage quality assurance processes and log quality non-conformance issues
  • Exercise stop work authority for safety and quality issues
  • Understand and comply with Keller risk management policies and procedures
  • Identify and mitigate major risks to the company
