This culinary-forward, hospitality-rich company operates 353 restaurants across the United States and Canada, including well-known brands such as The Cheesecake Factory, North Italia, and Flower Child, with an additional 34 international licensed locations. The organization is committed to creating delicious, memorable dining experiences crafted by passionate teams dedicated to excellence in guest service. Alongside its restaurant operations, The Cheesecake Factory runs two bakery facilities producing quality cheesecakes and baked goods not just for its own venues but also for international partners and third-party customers. The company prides itself on a diverse and inclusive workplace, supporting employees with equal opportunity employment practices and accommodating job applicants with disabilities.

The role of Dessert Finisher/Barista at The Cheesecake Factory plays a crucial part in delivering top-notch guest experiences in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant setting. This position is the friendly face behind the bakery case, responsible for adding the final touches to desserts like the iconic cheesecakes and perfecting espresso-based beverages. Responsibilities include glazing strawberries, shaping whipped cream to impress guests, and ensuring every dessert is plated with attention to detail and consistency. Additionally, the barista aspect of the role involves expertly operating espresso machines to create specialty coffee drinks, contributing to the full-service restaurant environment where quality and guest satisfaction are paramount.

As part of a collaborative front-of-house team, the Dessert Finisher/Barista must work efficiently while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety standards including allergen awareness. The role requires multitasking and working well under pressure, making a positive impact on both guest service and team dynamics. This position offers flexible scheduling options with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. The hourly wage ranges from $12.50 to $16.50, with added benefits such as paid vacation, medical and dental coverage options, employee discounts, and access to further education and career advancement programs. Employees also enjoy perks like faster pay access, wellness benefits including mental health support, and engaging community involvement through charity events. The Cheesecake Factory fosters a work environment that grows its team members’ skills alongside its reputation for hospitality excellence, making this opportunity ideal for individuals passionate about the food service industry and guest-centric service.
