Job Description

The Cheesecake Factory is a renowned leader in experiential dining, celebrated for its culinary-forward approach and unwavering dedication to exceptional hospitality. Established as a carrier of memorable experiences, The Cheesecake Factory has been recognized repeatedly by FORTUNE Magazine as one of the "100 Best Companies to Work For" since 2014. Operating 353 locations across the United States and Canada, the company also manages international franchises, alongside brands including North Italia and Flower Child. Its bakery division supports these operations by producing high-quality cheesecakes and baked goods, serving both internal and external customers. The company prides itself on a culture of passion, inclusivity, and career growth opportunities, making it a preferred employer within the food service industry.

The role of Dessert Finisher/Barista at The Cheesecake Factory is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of the guest experience, combining artistry and skill in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment. As the inviting face behind the bakery case, you will apply the finishing touches on signature desserts, such as glazing strawberries and creating perfect whipped cream presentations that captivate guests. Beyond dessert preparation, this role includes the skillful crafting of espresso beverages, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to consistency in quality.

Your responsibilities will not only focus on the culinary output but also on supporting front-of-house operations, emphasizing teamwork and efficient communication. This full-service role demands multitasking and the ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive and approachable demeanor. Adherence to food safety and sanitation standards is critical, alongside proficiency in product labeling, dating, and inventory rotation according to FIFO principles. The position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate full-time or part-time employment, competitive pay ranging from $15.00 to $19.75 per hour, and embodies an inclusive workplace culture dedicated to employee growth and well-being.
