Job Description

The Cheesecake Factory is a renowned leader in the experiential dining industry, famously known for its exceptional culinary offerings and dedication to hospitality. Established as a large-scale restaurant company, it operates 353 restaurants throughout the United States and Canada, along with international locations managed through licensing agreements. The company encompasses several restaurant brands including The Cheesecake Factory, North Italia, Flower Child, and others under its parent company, FRC. Besides its full-service dining establishments, The Cheesecake Factory also runs a bakery division with two production facilities that create high-quality cheesecakes and baked goods for its restaurants, licensees, and third-party customers. Recognized annually since 2014 by FORTUNE Magazine as one of the "100 Best Companies to Work For," The Cheesecake Factory prides itself on creating delicious, memorable dining experiences crafted by passionate people who value quality and exceptional service.

This role is for a Dessert Finisher/Barista within a high-volume, fast-paced environment, combining bakery artistry with barista expertise. The successful candidate will serve as the engaging and friendly face behind the bakery case, carefully putting the finishing touches on iconic desserts like cheesecakes. Key responsibilities include glazing strawberries, creating decorative whipped cream dollops, and preparing specialty espresso and coffee beverages with precision and skill. The position offers steady hours and flexible scheduling, suitable for both full-time and part-time employees, providing work-life balance through consistent shifts and available flexibility.

The Dessert Finisher/Barista will uphold the company’s commitment to quality and guest satisfaction by delivering consistent, exceptional product presentation and espresso preparation. This role supports front-of-house operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and product rotation, ensuring all food safety and handling standards are rigorously followed, including awareness of food allergies. The candidate will work efficiently and with a strong sense of urgency in a team-oriented atmosphere. This job demands multitasking skills and the ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods, emphasizing the need for stamina and endurance.

Employees enjoy numerous benefits including paid vacation, sick time, medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage options, some medical plans starting as low as twelve dollars per pay period, and access to virtual care and online mental health services at no cost. The company supports career and personal growth with world-class training, opportunities for advancement—evidenced by a management team largely promoted from within—and educational programs such as GED and Associate Degree completions at no cost to the employee.

Further perks include discounted meals during shifts and when dining with family or friends, company discounts on cell phones, gyms, movies, and theme parks, and employee recognition programs. The Cheesecake Factory fosters a caring community environment through both the HELP Fund for emergencies and hardship support and opportunities to participate in charity and community events. By joining this award-winning company, applicants become a part of a workplace committed to inclusiveness, diversity, and an unparalleled hospitality experience that elevates the guest experience every day.
