Located in Los Angeles, Cohera serves a diverse client base by orchestrating corporate events, seminars, receptions, and other memorable engagements with a commitment to high-impact and client-centric solutions. As a forward-thinking destination management company, Cohera fosters a collaborative work environment where professionals passionate about hospitality, design, and event management come together to create spectacular outcomes.
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Design and Development Manager to join our Los Angeles office. In this key role, you will lead the full proposal process for custom corporate events, from concept to delivery, ensuring client goals, budgets, and brand identities are honored and enhanced. You will be responsible for creating compelling proposals, including ideation, narrative writing, pricing, formatting, and presentation. This position requires a person with a keen eye for detail, excellent creative storytelling abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with sales and strategic teams. The ideal candidate will manage vendor relationships and coordinate logistics for a variety of complex and creative events such as carnival-themed seminars and Latin nightclub receptions.
This role offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience along with incentives based on program size and profitability. Employees benefit from comprehensive health insurance plans that include medical, vision, and dental coverage, paid time off including discretionary vacation, holidays, and sick leave, and a 401(k) plan with employer match. Additional benefits include company-covered short- and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, as well as paid professional development opportunities like certification and industry memberships. The position demands strong organizational and project management skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and flexibility to work late hours or weekends as required. As part of Cohera's rockstar team, you will play a vital role in creating one-of-a-kind experiences that resonate with clients and their guests, ensuring each event reflects our company's reputation for excellence and innovation.
