Job Requirements
- Current FAA class II medical certificate
- Current FAA Part 107 certificate
- Must have a US DoD security clearance
- Ability to evaluate customer's mission requirements
- Conduct preflight planning and mission coordination
- Execute customer mission requirements
- Complete post-mission reporting requirements
- Perform UAS equipment testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Assist with inventory and cycle counts
- Ability to pass background investigation
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service background
- Ability to pass medical, dental, and psychological pre-deployment screening
- Ability to work in small, cramped spaces
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders and ramps carrying up to 40 lbs
- Ability to bend and twist within normal range of motion
- Ability to stand and walk for at least two hours
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Associates degree or 3+ years related experience
Job Qualifications
- Current FAA class II medical certificate
- Current FAA Part 107 certificate
- Must have a US DoD security clearance
- Previous military qualification on a Group 2/3 VTOL system is desired
- VTOL UAS operational experience preferred
- Maritime UAS operational experience preferred
- Military/civilian aviation experience as pilot, navigator, weapons officer, or aircrew
- FAA private/commercial pilot or A&P certifications are advantageous
- 3+ years of deployed UAS or manned aircraft flight operations experience
- Prior leadership or management experience
- DoD Secret security clearance with current background investigation preferred
- Additional relevant foreign language fluency beneficial
- Experience operating or maintaining UAS platforms comparable to customer systems
- Experience delivering system training
- High degree of computer literacy including software/hardware installation and computer networking knowledge
Job Duties
- Evaluate customer mission requirements to determine appropriate system utilization
- Conduct preflight planning including mission briefings, weather analysis, NOTAMs, SPINs, and airspace checks
- Coordinate mission specifics with UAS crew and Air Traffic Control and review plans and logs
- Execute missions delivering full motion video and specialized payload data
- Complete post-mission reporting
- Perform UAS equipment testing, troubleshooting and maintenance
- Assist with inventory of spares and components and conduct cycle counts
- Conduct on-site technical training if certified and required
