Job Description

This job posting is for a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, but operates as a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. This means that the franchisee alone handles all employment matters including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald’s USA does not influence employment decisions or have access to employment applications for this position.

The managerial positions available include shift managers and department managers who lead various systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management. Department managers may be responsible for the Guest Service Department, Kitchen Department, or People Department. Guest Service Managers ensure that crew and managers deliver exceptional customer service, that sales promotions are executed effectively, and that Front Counter, McCafe, and Drive-Thru operations are well organized. Kitchen Managers focus on maintaining high food quality, ensuring food safety, controlling food costs, and training staff on production procedures including new menu items. People Department Managers oversee hiring, training, and scheduling to meet sales and profit goals, while promoting employee motivation and recognition.

Candidates with previous managerial experience, preferably in restaurant, retail, or hospitality settings, will be highly valued.   • Previous leadership or managerial experience preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently

Job Duties

  • Lead shifts every week ensuring fast, accurate, and friendly customer service
  • Manage assigned systems like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
  • Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up and report results to team and managers
  • Oversee Guest Service Department ensuring crew deliver great customer experience and manage Front Counter, McCafe and Drive-Thru areas
  • Supervise Kitchen Department ensuring food quality, safety, and cost control
  • Train kitchen staff on food production and new menu items
  • Manage People Department responsible for hiring, training, scheduling and motivating crew
