Job Description

This job posting is for a managerial position at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, licensed to use McDonald's logos and food products. It is important to note that this franchisee operates as a separate company and employer distinct from McDonald's USA. Therefore, any employment decisions, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling, are the responsibility of the franchisee, not McDonald's USA. This means that if you are hired for this role, your employer will be the franchisee and not McDonald's USA. The franchisee manages all employment matters and operates the restaurant under a license agreement allowing them the use of McDonald's branding and food offerings.

The restaurant environment offers a fast-paced, dynamic workplace focusing on delivering outstanding customer service and quality food. The culture encourages energy, team collaboration, and professional growth. Employees are supported with opportunities for advancement, comprehensive training, and educational benefits through programs such as Archways to Opportunity. The role offers flexibility in scheduling, rewarding team collaboration, and a chance to positively impact customers' daily experiences with delicious food in a welcoming setting.

For the managerial role, the franchisee seeks highly motivated individuals passionate about leading teams in a customer-centric environment. The managerial career path here includes shift leadership responsibilities, and some managers take charge of entire departments. These can include Guest Service, Kitchen, or People departments. As a manager, you will ensure customers receive fast, friendly, and accurate service during every visit. You will help maintain a highly efficient operation that complies with food safety standards and delivers consistently high-quality products.

More specifically, Guest Service Managers will oversee frontline operations such as the drive-thru, front counter, and McCafé areas, ensuring staff are trained and promotions are executed effectively. Kitchen Managers focus on food preparation quality, production efficiency, food safety, and cost control. People Managers concentrate on hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating crew members to meet sales and profit goals while fostering a positive work environment.

This position requires leadership skills, flexibility, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting similar to restaurant, retail, or hospitality industries. You must be at least 18 years old to hold a managerial role in corporate-owned McDonald's restaurants. Previous managerial experience is preferred but not mandatory for motivated candidates eager to learn and grow.

In addition to competitive pay, working as a Department Manager through this franchisee offers comprehensive benefits. Employees can take advantage of education programs, including assistance with earning a high school degree, college tuition support, and ESL classes. Service awards recognize dedication and contributions to the restaurant's success. These benefits support long-term career development and personal growth.

Joining this team means entering a work environment that values energy, teamwork, and passion for service. You have the chance to grow your career with one of the most recognized brands worldwide in quick-service dining, backed by an independent franchise providing a unique cultural and operational experience. The franchisee fully manages all employment aspects, ensuring local leadership and personalized attention to each team member's journey. If you are looking for a fulfilling career with opportunity, flexibility, and excellent benefits, consider applying to this franchise-operated McDonald's restaurant and make your move towards a rewarding future.
