McDonald’s USA does not receive employment applications and has no involvement in employment decisions. This distinction ensures that employees work directly for the local franchisee rather than for McDonald’s corporate.

The open position is for a Department Manager role, a leadership role critical to maintaining smooth operations in the restaurant. Managers in this position lead shifts weekly, ensuring customers receive quick, accurate, and friendly service on every visit. Moreover, some Department Managers take on specialized roles managing Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management. They are responsible for setting departmental goals, delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and reporting outcomes to their teams and other managers.

There are three main types of Department Manager roles at this restaurant: Guest Service, Kitchen, and People. Guest Service Department Managers oversee customer service delivery, promotion execution, and maintain organization at the Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive-Thru service points. Kitchen Department Managers focus on food quality, speed of service, food safety, cost control, and training kitchen staff on production processes including new menu items. People Department Managers handle recruitment, initial training, scheduling, and employee motivation to meet the restaurant’s sales and profit goals. These leadership positions require good organizational skills, the ability to lead and motivate teams, responsibility for operational standards, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences.

Candidates with previous managerial experience, especially in restaurant, retail, or hospitality sectors, are preferred.
