Job Description

SLI Enterprises is an independent franchisee that owns and operates numerous McDonald's restaurants across the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex, serving communities in locations such as Irving, Dallas, Mesquite, Caddo Mills, Greenville, Commerce, Italy, Waxahachie, Fairfield, Mexia, Corsicana, Ennis, and Terrell. Unlike McDonald's USA corporate-owned locations, these restaurants are independently managed by SLI Enterprises, which holds the license to use McDonald's branding, logos, food products, and operational standards. This distinction is essential for job applicants, as SLI Enterprises is the sole employer responsible for all employment-related matters, including hiring, firing, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald's USA does not participate in or influence these decisions and does not receive employment applications or conduct interviews for these franchise-operated restaurants.

This job opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking a career in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where you can grow professionally and personally. As a shift or department manager at one of SLI Enterprises’ McDonald's restaurants, you will play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding customer experience, ensuring food quality and safety, managing inventory, training staff, and leading teams with energy and purpose. The career path with SLI Enterprises promises valuable job training, opportunities for advancement, and support such as college tuition assistance and retirement benefits. Working here means joining a company that values team members who are positive, flexible, and passionate about providing exceptional service in a dynamic setting.

The role of a manager within these McDonald's franchise restaurants goes beyond day-to-day operations. Managers are expected to lead shifts and departments effectively by setting goals, delegating tasks, following up on progress, and reporting outcomes to team members and leadership. You will be involved in different operational areas depending on your assigned department, such as Guest Service, Kitchen, or People Management. Each of these departments plays a vital role in the smooth and efficient running of the restaurant. Guest Service managers ensure customers receive friendly, fast, and accurate service while overseeing the organization of the Front Counter, McCafe, and Drive-Thru areas. Kitchen managers focus on maintaining high food quality standards, food safety, and cost control while ensuring that kitchen staff are well-trained in production procedures. People managers concentrate on recruitment, training, scheduling, and employee motivation to meet sales and profitability goals.

This position is perfect for candidates who enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, have previous managerial experience, ideally in restaurant, retail, or hospitality industries, and are ready to embrace the famously fast-paced culture of McDonald's. Being at least 18 years old is a mandatory requirement to qualify for management positions within these corporate-owned and operated McDonald's restaurants. If you aspire to a career with growth potential, want to build valuable leadership skills, and seek flexible working hours that align well with your personal and educational pursuits, this is the role for you. Join SLI Enterprises to be part of a forward-moving company that makes your career aspirations possible and supports your development every step of the way.
