Although the franchisee uses McDonald's branding and menu, the franchisee operates as a separate company and employer from McDonald's USA. The franchisee alone is responsible for all employment matters at the restaurant, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling employees. McDonald's USA has no involvement in these employment decisions and will not have access to your application or employment records.
