Job Description

This job posting is for a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald's USA. This franchisee holds a license to use McDonald's logos and food products but operates as a completely separate company and employer. If hired, the franchisee—not McDonald's USA—will be your employer and oversee all employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. Thus, McDonald's USA does not have any control or involvement in employment decisions at this restaurant, and your application will only be processed by the franchisee.

McDonald's is known globally for its commitment to delivering quality food quickly in a friendly environment. This franchisee-owned restaurant shares that same commitment to service and excellence. The franchisee aims to build a welcoming team environment where each employee is encouraged to grow personally and professionally while contributing to a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere. This position presents a great opportunity for individuals seeking a satisfying career with ample growth potential, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The role is centered on the Department Manager position, which is pivotal in maintaining operational success. Managers lead shifts weekly, ensuring every customer receives fast, accurate, and friendly service. Depending on the department, Managers may oversee Systems like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, set goals, delegate tasks, monitor progress, and report outcomes. Specifically, Guest Service Managers focus on customer interaction, sales promotions, service procedures training, and organizing front-of-house areas like the Drive-Thru and McCafé. Kitchen Managers oversee food quality and safety, production consistency, food cost control, and staff training on new menu items. People Managers ensure the hiring of qualified crew, training programs, scheduling aligned with sales and profit goals, and employee motivation and recognition.

This career offers more than just a job; it offers personal development through leadership experiences within a renowned fast-food environment. Candidates are encouraged to be positive team players comfortable with a flexible schedule and motivated to thrive in one of the fastest-paced restaurant settings. Importantly, candidates must be 18 years or older to qualify for a managerial role at corporate-owned and operated McDonald's restaurants.

Beyond day-to-day responsibilities, managers at this franchise location benefit from an attractive package that supports work-life balance and continuing education. Benefits include paid vacation days, paid holidays, sabbaticals, education assistance including opportunities to earn a high school degree or college tuition support, and English as a Second Language classes. Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage are also provided, along with pre-tax flexible spending accounts, disability and life insurance options, paid leaves of absence, and service recognition awards. Additional perks include employee resource connections, adoption assistance, and a matching gifts program.

This role is ideal for someone who values a structured yet dynamic work environment and is eager to make meaningful contributions while building a long-term career. Managers play a vital role in creating memorable customer experiences and fostering a productive and positive team culture. If you're looking for a job that inspires your best work, supports your education goals, and offers substantial benefits and growth opportunities, this position is an excellent choice. Step into a leadership role where you can make a tangible impact while enjoying the support of a comprehensive benefits program dedicated to employee success and well-being.
