The role available is for a Department Manager, an important leadership position responsible for overseeing shifts and ensuring that customers consistently receive fast, accurate, and friendly service. Depending on the department assigned, managers may focus on Guest Service, Kitchen, or People operations. Managers lead by example, delegate tasks, and follow up on results to maintain smooth restaurant operations and high standards.
Guest Service Department Managers ensure the front counter, McCafé, and Drive-Thru areas provide exceptional customer experiences. They make sure that crew members and fellow managers execute sales promotions effectively and are well-trained in all customer service procedures.
Kitchen Department Managers focus on delivering high-quality, safe food prepared quickly to meet customer expectations. They monitor food costs and ensure that kitchen staff are proficient in production procedures, including new menu items.
People Department Managers play a key role in recruitment, training, and scheduling. They focus on building qualified teams that contribute to the restaurant's sales and profit goals. These managers also ensure that new employees have a positive start and ongoing recognition and motivation throughout their employment.
Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally in restaurant, retail, or hospitality settings.
