The company is devoted to delivering outstanding patient care through its network of dental practices while fostering a professional and supportive work environment that values integrity, career growth, and long-term development opportunities. Based in Mission Viejo, California, SoCal Dental Partners combines expert dental care with advanced practice management to create a welcoming and efficient atmosphere for patients and employees alike. Their commitment to excellence is reflected in the comprehensive services and consistent quality care they provide across all locations.

The Mission Viejo general dentistry practice is currently seeking a highly skilled Dental Front Office / Insurance Coordinator to join the team in a full-time capacity. This dual-role position plays a crucial part in both the administrative front office operations and treatment coordination. The ideal candidate will possess detail orientation, strong communication skills, and the ability to support clinical staff when needed. This role demands proficiency in managing insurance verification and billing, scheduling and patient flow management, and treatment plan presentation. Candidates with prior experience spanning both front and back office duties will thrive in this dynamic role, helping to enhance case acceptance rates and ensure smooth office operations while contributing to overall production goals.

In this role, the Dental Front Office / Insurance Coordinator will handle a variety of vital responsibilities, such as answering phone calls, managing patient check-in and check-out, processing insurance claims, verifying insurance benefits, and explaining coverage to patients in an understandable manner. Additionally, the coordinator assists with financial arrangements, scheduling appointments to optimize patient flow, and presenting treatment plans clearly to encourage patient understanding and acceptance. The position also requires a commitment to maintaining compliance with OSHA and infection control regulations, underscoring the practice’s adherence to safety and quality standards.

This opportunity offers competitive compensation ranging from $24 to $29 per hour, depending on experience, with full-time employment status. Employees benefit from an attractive package including California sick leave accrued immediately, paid time off after one year, paid holidays according to company policy, a health insurance stipend through ICHRA, vision insurance, dental benefits, and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching once eligible. Supplemental employee-paid pre-tax benefits are also available to support overall well-being. This role is ideal for candidates who are both professional and team-oriented, with CPR certification and a background in dental assisting considered valuable assets. The employer also places great emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion, standing as an equal opportunity employer that respects all qualified applicants regardless of protected characteristics.
