Job Description
Access Endodontics is a leading dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional endodontic care to patients in a welcoming and professional environment. As part of Specialized Dental Partners, Access Endodontics benefits from a collective commitment to excellence, innovation, and patient-centered care. Specialized Dental Partners and its affiliates are recognized for fostering a workplace culture that values diversity, inclusivity, and fairness, ensuring that all employees are empowered and supported throughout their careers. This dedication extends to their competitive compensation packages, comprehensive benefits, and commitment to equitable pay practices based on role, experience, and contributions rather than any personal characteristic. Joining Access Endodontics means becoming part of a team where patient care is paramount and where collaborative efforts across administrative and clinical roles enhance both patient experience and operational efficiency.
The role of Dental Receptionist at Access Endodontics is vital as the first point of contact for patients, setting the tone for a positive and reassuring experience. This full-time position, with a schedule from Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 5 pm, offers a salary range of $23 to $26 per hour and is designed for individuals who are both friendly and organized, capable of managing the front office with professionalism and care. Candidates who possess cross-training as a Dental Assistant are preferred, as this versatility allows them to support both front desk responsibilities and clinical assistance, thereby contributing to the seamless functioning of the practice.
Responsibilities of the Dental Receptionist include greeting patients warmly, scheduling and managing appointments and provider calendars, handling phone communications, verifying insurance coverage including pre-authorizations, processing payments, maintaining accurate financial and patient records, coordinating patient flow, and supporting administrative functions as needed. This role requires adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards, ensuring trust and compliance within the practice. The Dental Receptionist serves not only as the friendly face that welcomes patients but also as a critical link between patients, providers, and administrative operations, facilitating an efficient and caring environment.
