Job Description
We are a single-location dental practice conveniently situated on the Southwest corner of Dysart Road and Osborn Road. Serving primarily the communities of Goodyear, Avondale, Litchfield Park, and El Mirage, our practice also attracts patients from across the Phoenix metro area and even out of state, showcasing our broad reach and exceptional reputation. Over the years, we have built a solid foundation of trust and care, which is reflected in our many stellar reviews and the loyalty of our patients. Our commitment to providing superb dental care is matched by our dedication to maintaining excellent customer service, making our practice a place where patients feel valued, respected, and cared for at every visit.
The role of Dental Front Office Receptionist, Scheduling, and Recare Coordinator is vital in preserving and advancing this tradition of outstanding service. As a part-time team member, you will be at the forefront of patient interaction, ensuring every person who walks through our doors experiences the warm, professional atmosphere we pride ourselves on. Your responsibilities will include basic office duties such as greeting patients, checking them in and out, scheduling appointments, and handling patient payments. You will also be the key contact for answering phones, making recare calls, and assisting patients with scheduling new visits. Another critical aspect of this role involves verifying dental insurance and explaining treatment plans to patients when necessary.
This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals with at least two years of dental experience, especially those with front office backgrounds. However, we are also open to training motivated candidates who wish to transition from dental assisting roles to front office responsibilities. Knowledge of dental terminology and dental insurance is advantageous, as it will enable you to provide even better support to both patients and the clinical team.
Our practice philosophy is centered on treating patients the way we would want to be treated ourselves. We seek a candidate who shares this philosophy, demonstrates an outgoing personality, and possesses strong communication skills. This role is not just a job but a chance to grow with our practice and contribute to its continued success. The position offers flexible part-time hours, accommodating a healthy work-life balance, with office hours primarily Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7 am to 5 pm, Wednesdays from 7 am to 7 pm, and Fridays on an as-needed basis. There are no weekend hours required.
Compensation for this position starts at $22.00 per hour and is commensurate with experience. If you bring energy, dedication, and a passion for excellent patient care, this role will provide a fulfilling and rewarding career path in a supportive and friendly dental office setting.
