Job Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working in a dental office or same position
- Saturday availability is essential
- start time as early as 8:20 AM
- flexibility with varying end times including weekdays until 6:00 PM or later and Saturdays until 4:00 PM or later
- ability to use Dentrix Ascend software
- knowledge of HIPAA protocols
- team player
- good organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working in a dental office or same position
- familiarity with Dentrix Ascend preferred
- some knowledge of the clinical side preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and handle high volume interactions
- attention to detail
- customer service oriented
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey
- sustain patient comfort and provide appropriate education to patients
- knowledge of account ledger
- insurance breakdown
- answering phone calls
- scheduling appointments
- creating and presenting treatment plans
- checkout patients
- charge patients for services
- create claims
- send claims
- send pre authorizations
- utilize Dentrix Ascend for patient scheduling and record keeping
- adherence to HIPAA protocols
- other duties associated with business assistants and receptionists at a dental office
- partner with the providers and team to implement our systems and maximize office workflow
