Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • At least 3 years in customer service, insurance navigation, or claims processing
  • 2+ years of experience with dental benefits, claims, or provider relations strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and billing practices preferred
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex benefits in a clear, easy-to-understand way
  • Experience delivering high-touch, personalized customer service
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Provide personalized support to members, helping them navigate dental benefits, claims, cost-sharing, and provider access
  • Educate members on benefits, estimate costs, and coordinate reimbursements
  • Proactively contact dental offices to clarify billing practices and minimize member out-of-pocket costs
  • Serve as a resource for dental providers, offering support with eligibility verification, claims, coding, billing, and portal use
  • Build and maintain strong provider relationships that support growth and retention
  • Collaborate across internal teams to ensure smooth, integrated member and provider experiences
  • Document interactions and contribute feedback to improve services and processes
