Job Description

Holland America/Princess Alaska-Yukon Land Operations is a distinguished collaboration between Princess Cruises and Holland America Line, recognized leaders and innovators in Alaska tourism. This company is dedicated to offering some of the most memorable and adventurous travel experiences available, focusing on the unparalleled beauty and wilderness of Alaska and the Yukon. Guests aboard their journeys have the unique opportunity to sail past majestic glaciers, relax in cozy wilderness lodges, or witness the breathtaking sights from dome-window rail cars, including spotting wildlife such as bears in their natural habitat. The company places a strong emphasis on sustainability through its "Sustain Alaska & the Yukon" program, actively promoting environmental responsibility via recycling where possible, waste reduction, and educating guests about ecological commitments. They prioritize delivering exceptional customer service to guests, coworkers, and vendors alike, fostering a safe and inclusive workplace. Committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, the organization ensures a respectful and welcoming environment for all employees.

In this specific role as the Rail Division's Traveling Concierge, you will be a vital part of the guest experience on board their rail journeys through Denali National Park. Your responsibilities will include guiding and informing guests about the many wonderful tours and features offered in their land-based operations. You'll also complete important paperwork such as daily reports, luggage counts, and sales reconciliations. The position occasionally involves assisting with food and beverage operations, providing a dynamic and collaborative work environment. This role demands the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, prioritizing tasks and delivering attentive customer service consistently. Being part of the Holland America/Princess team means you will contribute to creating lifetime memories for travelers, all while developing your professional skills within a leading organization in the travel and tourism industry.
