We are seeking a motivated and skilled Buffet Supervisor to oversee and guide the back-of-house operations within the Buffet department. The role is integral to ensuring smooth daily operations, staff supervision, and superior customer experience in accordance with company standards. As a buffet supervisor, you will be a key player in coordinating operational goals, monitoring performance and profitability, maintaining high food preparation and safety standards, and supporting the backend administration and budget compliance. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two years culinary experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to write reports and procedure manuals
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Basic arithmetic and ability to interpret graphs
- Ability to handle conflict resolution tactfully
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years culinary experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

- Ability to interact and resolve conflicts diplomatically with guests and staff
Job Duties
- Provide guidance and daily supervision to buffet staff
- Support and administer operational goals
- Monitor achievement of performance and profit objectives
- Adhere to scheduling and coordinate with management on scheduling concerns
- Administer food preparation ensuring cleanliness and stock
- Support compliance to departmental budgets
- Promote and ensure superior customer service
- Monitor pars and inventory to maintain cost control
- Assist Sous Chef with administrative duties
- Maintain quality assurance and health department standards
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Maintain confidentiality in departmental matters
