Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Fluency in English
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport with at least 28 months validity before training
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Pass pre-employment drug test and comprehensive background checks
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting up to 60 pounds and using beverage carts
- Willingness to relocate or commute as assigned
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have received or will receive COVID-19 vaccination by hire date where required
Job Qualifications

- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Ability to acquire and maintain a valid passport and necessary travel documents
- Successful completion of a pre-employment Department of Transportation drug test and comprehensive background check including fingerprint-based criminal history
- Ability to operate physically demanding tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and opening emergency aircraft doors
- Willingness to accept assignment to any Flight Attendant base after training
- Flexibility to relocate or commute and fly international and domestic routes
- Ability to adapt to scheduling changes on short notice
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements where applicable
Job Duties
- Ensure the safety and comfort of customers while providing extraordinary customer service
- Provide assistance lifting and stowing luggage into overhead bins and solicit assistance when needed
- Demonstrate the use of safety and emergency equipment and ensure safety requirements are met
- Prepare, serve, and sell beverages including alcohol and meals
- Answer questions and assist customers, particularly those with special needs
- Adhere to uniform and appearance guidelines including tattoos and piercings restrictions
- Actively ensure customers are safe and comfortable during delays or turbulence
- Administer and coordinate emergency procedures or provide emergency care such as CPR and basic first aid
- Respond with clear and accurate directions to customers in emergencies
- Make decisions to address issues in line with Delta policies, procedures, and core values
- Work independently and as part of a team to accomplish tasks
- Meet timelines and manage unexpected changes in a timely and effective manner
- Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational procedures
