The role offered is a full-time, non-management position focused on assisting in the coordination of operations related to Special Events and Leisure Experiences such as ICE!, the Best of Florida Christmas, SummerFest, and more. This dynamic position plays a crucial role in ensuring that all event activities run smoothly, meet operational standards, and deliver exceptional guest satisfaction. The individual taking on this role will be responsible for closely monitoring event operations, lighting, audio-visual setups, cleanliness, and overall system functionality while promptly addressing any aesthetic or functional issues that may arise. Training and supporting Special Events employees forms a significant part of the job, including helping to implement training guidelines provided by the Special Events Manager and Assistant Managers.
Additionally, this position involves the use of various software systems tailored for events including ticketing platforms, retail management, inventory control, and space utilization, ensuring precise coordination and oversight of all event facets. The ability to resolve discrepancies in financial records, inventory counts, and numeric data is a key responsibility that requires attention to detail and analytical skills. The role demands a keen understanding and adherence to company policies, promoting a safe and respectful work environment, safeguarding company assets, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 25 pounds without assistance

Job Duties
- Assist in coordinating the operation of Special Events and Leisure Experience activities
- Check the status of operation, lighting, AV, cleanliness, system operation and correct aesthetic deficiencies
- Support training and monitor Special Events employees
- Learn and operate event software systems such as ticketing, retail, inventory, and space usage
- Resolve financial, inventory, and numeric discrepancies
- Follow all company policies and procedures including safety and appearance standards
- Welcome and assist guests, communicate professionally, and maintain positive working relationships
