Job Requirements
- Valid state driver’s license
- Meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
- Ability to maintain and secure company vehicle and keys
- Ability to keep accurate delivery manifests
- Ability to communicate effectively with store team members and management
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and report incidents
- Ability to lift and handle automotive parts and products safely
- Flexibility to work scheduled delivery shifts
- Bilingual skills encouraged
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state driver’s license meeting company requirements
- Clean driving record compliant with company 14/18-point system
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to adapt effectively to changing delivery situations
- Fluency in multiple languages, Spanish highly desired
- Prior experience in delivery or transportation preferred
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and safety protocols
Job Duties
- Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution center
- Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on set delivery route
- Maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries
- Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure
- Ensure designated team member at stores verifies invoices and signs route manifest
- Report any delivery delays promptly to city delivery supervisor and/or stores remaining on route
- Project a professional and personable image when interacting with store personnel
- Communicate any problems or special requests from stores to management
- Check vehicle fluid levels and log mileage daily before operating vehicle
- Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to store manager
- Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle secured at end of day’s work
- Drive safely and defensively
- Clock in/out according to company policy
