Job Requirements

  • Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
  • Driving record must meet company’s 14/18-point record system standards
  • Possess legally required state driver’s license and meet company driving eligibility
  • Ability to operate company delivery vehicles safely and efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid state driver's license with clean driving record meeting company's 14/18-point system
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to use hand-held delivery fleet management devices
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations
  • Familiarity with automotive parts is preferred
  • Ability to operate light store equipment is a plus
  • Bilingual fluency, especially Spanish, is highly desired

Job Duties

  • Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner
  • Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, complete daily vehicle inspections
  • Keep vehicles clean and maintained, complete daily vehicle inspections prior to operating
  • Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and monies collected at all times
  • Pick up customer returns including new, warranty, and cores, and fill out driver return slips
  • Communicate any problems or special customer needs to store management
  • Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager immediately
  • Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicles are locked and secured at the end of the business day
  • Perform additional duties such as customer service, merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and running errands as needed
