The Delivery Specialist role at O'Reilly Auto Parts is essential in maintaining smooth operations and excellent customer experiences by handling the safe and timely delivery of parts and products to professional customers. The specialist operates company vehicles while ensuring all deliveries follow safety protocols and company guidelines. This position involves more than just deliveries; responsibilities also include collecting payments on cash on delivery (C.O.D.) orders, picking up customer returns such as new products, warranties, and cores, and maintaining accurate delivery records. A strong focus is placed on vehicle care, security of company assets, and communication with store management about any delivery issues or vehicle needs.

As a Delivery Specialist, individuals have the opportunity to engage directly with customers, providing exceptional service and occasionally assisting in-store tasks such as merchandising, cashier duties, and general stocking. This varied scope allows for a dynamic work environment and helps build customer relationships crucial to O'Reilly Auto Parts' success. The role offers competitive wages, paid time off, a stock purchase plan, 401k with employer contributions starting on day one, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance. Tuition educational assistance and employee wellness programs further enhance the total compensation package, supporting both professional and personal growth.

Bilingual candidates are especially encouraged to apply, reflecting the company’s commitment to serving diverse communities effectively. The company requires a valid state driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to manage fleet technology efficiently. Knowledge or interest in automotive parts is beneficial but not mandatory. This position demands adaptability, strong communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach to daily vehicle maintenance and delivery logistics.
