Job Requirements
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company’s 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Job Qualifications
- Valid state driver’s license
- Meet company driving eligibility requirements and driving record standards
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations
- Ability to use handheld fleet management devices
- Familiarity with automotive parts is preferred
- Ability to operate light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desired
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner
- Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, complete daily vehicle inspections
- Maintain cleanliness, ensure regular maintenance, and complete daily inspections of delivery vehicles
- Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and monies collected at all times
- Pick up customer returns including new, warranty, and core parts, and fill out driver return slips
- Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management promptly
- Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damages to store manager immediately
- Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked and secured at end of day
- Clock in/out according to company policy
- Perform additional duties such as customer service, merchandising, stocking, sweeping, running errands, assisting as cashier when needed
