Job Requirements
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet company’s 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver’s license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state driver’s license meeting company driving eligibility requirements
- Clean driving record according to company 14/18-point record system
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations
- Ability to operate delivery fleet management devices
- Experience with automotive parts is desirable
- Ability to operate light store equipment is a plus
- Bilingual skills, especially Spanish, are highly preferred
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner
- Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections
- Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of vehicles
- Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel cards, hand-held devices, and collected monies at all times
- Pick up customer returns including new, warranty, and core parts, and complete driver return slips
- Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management
- Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage immediately
- Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked and secured at the end of each day
- Clock in and out according to company policy
- Assist with customer service, merchandising, stocking, and other store duties as needed
