AVI Foodsystems is currently seeking a friendly and hard-working individual to join their team as a Delivery Route Driver. The role of the Delivery Route Driver is essential in ensuring that products and food items are efficiently transported to client locations, maintaining the quality and integrity of each delivery. As a Delivery Route Driver, the successful candidate will be responsible for loading the company vehicle with all necessary products required to service various locations, ensuring the refrigeration of cold food products is maintained throughout the route, and delivering orders with care to vending attendants at client sites. Additionally, drivers will be tasked with collecting products and paperwork, responsibly discarding unsold or stale merchandise, and maintaining the company vehicle in good condition. Strong communication skills are crucial, as drivers must positively interact with customers and team members alike, promoting a friendly and inviting image of AVI Foodsystems. Job Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Ability to pass the DOT Physical
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Outgoing personality with promotional skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Effective communication abilities
Ability to work independently

Job Duties

Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
Discard unsold and stale merchandise
Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers
Manage the care of the company vehicle
