Job Requirements
- Valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
- Acceptable driving record
- Satisfactory completion of DOT physical, drug test, and background check
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow detailed safety protocols
- Experience operating commercial trucks preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Safely operate propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes
- Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane
- Deliver propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers
- Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations as well as AmeriGas safety and operations policies and procedures
- Consistent use of required personal protective equipment
- Work 8 to 12-hour shifts depending on fluctuating needs
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
