At Worldpac, the position of Delivery Driver / Warehouse Team Member plays a critical role in the overall supply chain and customer service operations. This on-site role combines the responsibilities of delivering products along established routes, picking up returned merchandise, and managing all shipping and receiving functions within the branch. The position requires a strong blend of physical capability, attention to detail, and customer service skills to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment.
As a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Team Member, the individual is responsible for the safe operation of the delivery vehicle, adhering strictly to company safety standards and all applicable state-specific driver’s license requirements. This role involves interacting directly with customers, collecting payments when necessary, and ensuring all delivery records, manifests, and receiving documents are accurately maintained. The role also demands proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to handle merchandise effectively.
Furthermore, the position requires the ability to interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals accurately. Physical stamina is essential as the team member must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally managing heavier loads up to 100 pounds. The working environment is dynamic and can be noisy, involving exposure to moving mechanical parts and elements such as fumes or airborne particles, necessitating adherence to safety protocols consistently.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- eligible to work in the United States
- must be able to lift 50 pounds
- must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record per company standards
- must meet all applicable state-specific driver’s license requirements prior to driving a company vehicle to perform delivery duties
- ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk and listen regularly
- physically able to stoop, kneel, crouch frequently and occasionally sit, climb or balance
- able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- willing to work in a noisy environment exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals
- consistent and reliable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
- experience operating forklift and pallet jack is preferred
- strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to use a computer and handheld radio frequency devices
- proven track record of reliability and punctuality
- customer service experience preferred
Job Duties
- Use vehicle to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise in a safe and courteous manner
- create and maintain records as needed
- dispatch, confirm customer order and generate delivery manifests and receiving documents
- sort, organize and prepare merchandise from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas by part and quantity
- ensure that customer orders are located, picked up and signed for
- collect funds from customers if needed and maintain all necessary documents
- perform other duties as assigned
