Job Description

ProDrivers is a reputable transportation company specializing in providing dependable and professional driving services through their team of skilled truck drivers. Known for their commitment to safety, reliability, and excellent customer service, ProDrivers caters to various logistics and delivery needs, particularly focusing on local shuttle and route driving. The company values its employees and continually strives to offer competitive wages, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits that support both drivers and their families, fostering a positive and rewarding work environment.

Currently, ProDrivers is seeking dependable and detail-oriented individuals to fill Class A CDL and Class C truck driver positions. These roles are critical in the company’s operations, as the drivers are responsible for safely transporting goods, maintaining timely schedules, and delivering exceptional service at every stop. The Class A CDL driver role offers a competitive pay rate of $28.40 per hour and involves a Thursday through Sunday schedule from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM. The route includes shuttle services with two days to Reno and two days to Ukiah. Drivers in this position are expected to load and unload 39 carts per trip each way, ensure the safety and timeliness of deliveries, and maintain compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations along with vehicle upkeep.

The Class C driver role offers a competitive pay rate of $24.25 per hour and requires a schedule from 2:00 AM to 1:00 PM. It is important to note that ride-share and Uber experience will not be considered for this position. The duties include checking in with customer contacts at delivery locations, completing paperwork and verifying delivery quantities, communicating effectively with customers, organizing remaining inventory, stocking and rotating products properly, and keeping delivery areas clean and organized. Garment deliveries require additional responsibilities such as removing empty hangers and tally sheets while maintaining quality control and safety procedures. Both positions require truck drivers to maintain truck cleanliness, verify load accuracy daily, and perform any additional assigned duties.

ProDrivers emphasizes flexibility and competitive market pay paired with benefits such as weekly direct deposit payments, medical benefits for drivers and their families, dental and vision coverage, IRA options, and term life insurance. This comprehensive package showcases the company’s dedication to supporting their employees beyond just their work roles. Reliability, punctuality, effective communication, and strong customer service skills are crucial attributes for applicants, along with the physical ability to handle loading, unloading, and organizing products. Previous shuttle or route driving experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Joining ProDrivers means becoming part of a well-established company that prioritizes its drivers’ well-being while delivering quality service to its customers. With competitive pay, flexible schedules, and a strong benefits program, ProDrivers provides an excellent career opportunity for truck drivers looking for stability, growth, and a supportive work environment.
