Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent is a plus but not required
- 2 years driving experience if age 18, 1 year if age 19 or older
- customer service experience helpful but not required
- able to read follow maps
- Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate
- able to communicate effectively to various clientele
- strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- able to follow directions and achieve goals
- able to follow schedule and be punctual
- able to work swiftly with smart hustle
Job Duties
- arrive to work on time in complete uniform with a clean vehicle and a full tank of gas
- wear a lit car top at all times during delivery
- assemble all items in order and ensure all extras are included
- route orders to yourself in Pulse routing program within 1 minute of leaving the store
- hustle safely to and from store to vehicle and from vehicle to customers door
- transport hot items in proper heat bag or cold items in plastic bag
- load all items in orders assigned in a clean and safe vehicle
- drive safely obeying all traffic laws
- do not make additional stops unless permission is granted
- collect money from customers and provide correct change
- collect signature for card transactions
- keep track of cash and receipts ensuring balance at end of shift
- use drop box to keep cash under twenty dollars and no money kept in vehicle
- listen to and resolve customer complaints and inquiries
- keep driver area stocked organized neat and clean
- assist in stocking and cleaning box hutch and other areas
- ensure dining area is clean and stocked at close
- maintain heat bags clean and free of rips
- sweep floor regularly and mop nightly
- wash dishes when no dishwasher on shift
- help cook and work in kitchen as backup
- assist with taking phone counter and window orders
- general store cleaning
