Courier Express is currently seeking Independent Contractor Courier Drivers with Cargo, Sprinter, or Transit Vans for daytime, Monday through Friday last mile distribution delivery routes of office supply products within the Greenville, Kinston, and surrounding areas. Route opportunities are available immediately for drivers operating out of the Greenville, NC warehouse. This role is ideal for independent contractors who prefer predictable, daytime schedules without the inconvenience of overnight or weekend work. Drivers can expect a starting weekly settlement ranging from $900 to $1,100 or more depending on the number of pieces delivered, offering a lucrative and stable income opportunity in the delivery sector. The contractors will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering office supply products while upholding the excellent reputation Courier Express has built over several decades.

This independent contractor position requires individuals to provide their own vehicle, which should be a Cargo, Sprinter, or Transit Van. Drivers must be 18 years or older, possess a valid driver's license, and have a clean driving record with no more than three violations in the past three years. Additionally, the role demands physical capability to lift and carry packages of various sizes and weights and requires the use of a smartphone (iPhone or Android) to manage deliveries effectively. Auto insurance coverage is a mandatory contractual requirement, where vehicles under 10,000 lbs Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) must carry coverage of 100k/300k/50k, and vehicles over 10,000 lbs GVWR must hold 500k Combined Single Limit (CSL) coverage.
