As a Delivery Driver at Room & Board, your role goes beyond just making deliveries; you become an essential part of the customer experience and a strong brand ambassador for the company’s high-quality products and exceptional reputation. This career opportunity offers a unique blend of responsibilities, balancing time spent driving and making deliveries in the local area with working indoors in the warehouse. You will join a dedicated, cross-functional team responsible for product inspection, assembly, staging, and local delivery service.

In this position, you will work as part of a two-person delivery team to safely and efficiently deliver a variety of American-made home furnishings to homes and businesses across the Boston region. Your duties include both driving the 24-foot box truck (with training provided) and assisting with product preparation, ensuring that every piece meets the company’s high standards before leaving the warehouse. You will alternate between two-week shifts on the road and two weeks working in the delivery center, engaging in merchandise quality inspections, product staging, and basic assembly tasks.

Physical stamina, agility, and core strength are important, as the job requires lifting and handling heavy items safely with the help of a team member or proper equipment. The work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with occasional paid overtime. The salary range for this position is between $55,000 and $60,000 annually ($26.44 to $28.85 per hour), with compensation based on experience and qualifications, and an established guarantee including paid overtime.
