The role available at Bear Flag Fish Co. is a full-time position that involves both driving and culinary responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the company van 2 to 3 days per week, primarily from 4 AM to 12 noon, delivering fresh seafood and other perishable products to various restaurant locations. This requires a clean driving record and the physical ability to handle heavy lifting—up to 75 pounds—making it essential for the candidate to be physically fit and attentive to safety protocols. The remaining 2 days per week will involve working as a prep cook alongside the current kitchen team. This part of the job includes preparing daily fresh items such as poke, ceviche, salsa, specialty sauces, and clam chowder, ensuring that all food products meet the company’s high standards of quality and freshness.

Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 75 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be available to work early morning shifts from 4am to 12noon
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work

Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work preferred

Job Duties
- Drive company van to deliver fresh seafood and perishable items to restaurants
- Load and unload heavy items up to 75 pounds
- Prepare fresh food items including poke, ceviche, salsa, specialty sauces, and clam chowder
- Work alongside kitchen team to ensure food quality and timely preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and prep area
- Follow safety regulations for food handling and delivery
