Job Requirements
- submit social security number for background screening
- meet minimum age requirements based on delivery mode
- have a valid driver’s license as applicable
- own or have access to a vehicle that meets Uber’s standards
- maintain a smartphone compatible with the Uber app
- possess sufficient knowledge of local geography and traffic laws
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license (when delivering by car or scooter)
- government-issued ID (when delivering by bicycle or on foot)
- at least 18 years old for bicycle or foot delivery
- at least 19 years old for car or scooter delivery
- access to a reliable vehicle (car, scooter, bicycle, or on foot equipment)
- ability to use smartphone apps for navigation and delivery management
Job Duties
- accept delivery requests through the Uber app
- pick up orders from restaurants or vendors
- deliver food and goods promptly to customers
- ensure food safety and proper handling during transit
- maintain communication with customers via the app
- manage delivery schedules flexibly
- adhere to local traffic laws and Uber policies
