Job Requirements
- must be at least 19 years old for car and scooter delivery and 18 years old for bicycle or pedestrian delivery
- valid driver's license for car and scooter delivery
- government-issued id for bicycle and pedestrian delivery
- ownership of a 2-door or 4-door car for car delivery or a motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery
- ability to pass a background screening
- possession of a smartphone capable of running the Uber app
- ability to work independently
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- valid driver's license for car and scooter delivery
- familiarity with mobile app technology
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- knowledge of local geography and traffic patterns
- prior experience in delivery or rideshare driving is a plus
Job Duties
- accept delivery requests and ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- maintain communication with customers and support through the app
- adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- manage own schedule and availability within the Uber Eats platform
- provide excellent customer service and handle any delivery issues professionally
- keep the vehicle or transportation method in good condition
- report any incidents or problems encountered during delivery
