Job Requirements
- must be at least 19 years old for car or scooter delivery
- must be at least 18 years old for bicycle or on-foot delivery
- valid driver’s license with your name for car or scooter delivery
- have a 2-door or 4-door car if delivering by car
- motorized scooter under 50cc if delivering by scooter
- government-issued ID if delivering by bicycle or on foot
- submit your Social Security number for background screening
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license or government-issued ID depending on delivery method
- ability to operate a car, scooter, bicycle, or deliver on foot safely
- familiarity with smartphone usage and app navigation
- strong communication skills
- ability to work independently as an independent contractor
- good knowledge of local Visalia streets and neighborhoods
Job Duties
- accept and complete delivery requests promptly
- use the Uber Eats app to navigate delivery routes efficiently
- communicate with customers as needed to ensure accurate delivery
- adhere to all traffic laws and safety guidelines
- maintain reliable and professional conduct during deliveries
- manage time effectively to maximize earnings
