Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old for bicycle or foot delivery
- must be at least 19 years old for car or scooter delivery
- valid driver’s license in your name if delivering by car or scooter
- ownership or access to a 2-door or 4-door car, motorized scooter under 50cc, bicycle, or be able to deliver on foot depending on delivery method
- pass a background check including social security verification
- have a government-issued ID
- smartphone capable of running the Uber Eats app
- ability to carry out deliveries in various weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in delivery or customer service roles is advantageous
- familiarity with GPS and smartphone usage
- good communication skills
- ability to navigate Springfield efficiently
- customer-focused attitude
- reliability and punctuality
Job Duties
- pick up food orders from restaurants
- deliver orders promptly and efficiently to customers
- use the Uber Eats app to receive and manage delivery requests
- maintain communication with customers and support services as needed
- ensure accuracy and completeness of each delivery
- follow all local traffic and safety regulations
- manage time effectively to maximize earnings
